December 23, 2025 - December 30, 2025
School’s Out, Safari’s On! NEW Winter Safari Camp!
When school is out for winter break, the adventure kicks off at Alexandria Zoo! Our brand-new Winter Safari Camp is the perfect way for your young animal explorer to trade cabin fever for exciting creatures and wild discoveries.
This isn’t just a camp; it’s an adventure for kids and a much-needed break for parents!
Parents: Need to get some holiday errands done? We’ve got you covered. The camp’s convenient 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM schedule gives you the perfect kid-free window to wrap gifts, grab groceries, or just enjoy a quiet cup of coffee. Drop your child off for a wild morning of fun, and reclaim a few hours for yourself!
Your Explorer’s Safari Includes:
Get Creative with Art: Campers will become nature artists! We’re thrilled to host guest artist Alyssa Guidry, who will help every child create their own nature-inspired pottery to take home.
VIP Animal Access: Get the inside scoop with exclusive keeper chats and unforgettable animal meet and greets.
All Aboard!: What’s a zoo adventure without a ride on the train?
Plus: Plenty of exploration time in the zoo and a daily snack to fuel the fun!
